Tasting notes
Colour: intense ruby red
Scent: a very good presentation, a fine, complex, fruity and flowery equilibrium perfume. It smells of developed mature red barried fruits, like plums and cherries, and has a gentle scents of violet, figs and candied fruit.
Palate: sweet, warm, soft, quite fresh and fine, with a considerable persistence. Pleasant tannic note and slight acidity that expresses a precious equilibrium and a remarkable elegance.
Matching: Meditation wine, for sipping alone, or with aged cheese. Perfect with Calabrian traditional sweets, dried fruit and figs or cherry tarts.
The most charming matching is with dark chocolate.
